4. The Roll-Up Organizer with Slotted Dividers

A roll-up wrap keeps drawing pencils, pens, and fine liners separated and visible. Cut a base panel measuring 12 by 8 inches and a front pocket strip measuring 12 by 4 inches. Pin the pocket strip along the bottom edge of the base. Using a ruler and fabric pen, mark vertical lines every 1 to 1.5 inches across the strip. Stitch straight down each line through both layers to form individual pencil slots. Finish by sewing a long ribbon or felt strap to one outer edge so the entire wrap can be rolled and tied.
