8. Cylinder Tape Dispenser & Ribbon Station
Washi tapes, masking tapes, and correction tapes often scatter across workspaces. A dedicated spindle dispenser keeps them lined up, tidy, and ready to unravel.
- Materials: Sturdy cardboard box, a wooden dowel or rolled tight cardboard tube, and hot glue.
- How to Build: Create a deep U-shaped cardboard cradle with semi-circular notches cut into the opposing side walls. Slide tape rolls onto the dowel and rest the dowel ends inside the notches.
- Styling Tip: Paint the cradle in a soft terracotta or sage green tone, and add an aluminum foil cutting strip along the front lip for easy tape tearing.
