5. Leprechaun Hats

Leprechauns are iconic symbols of St Patrick’s Day. Making a simple hat can be a creative project.

Materials Needed:

  • Black and green construction paper
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Gold stickers or paper

Instructions:

  1. Form a cylinder from green construction paper for the hat’s base.
  2. Add a black band around it and a yellow buckle.
  3. Let preschoolers decorate as they wish.

These hats can double as props for a St Patrick’s Day play.
